Bill Guerin/Matt Boldy presser has begunmnwild gave him two options, burn the first year and start right away in Iowa or start contract in 2021-22. Guerin believes in the AHL and wants him to start there. Says it'll be up to Boldy whether he gets a shot this season. The NHL silly season is rolling up on us like a big, slow, heavy rolling thing. And while nothing particularly interesting is happening for Dallas Stars fans right now, there is always the possibility that interesting things could happen soon. Case in point: some flashy trade rumors that have surfaced as June begins https://www.denverproshoponline.com/Pet_Jerseys-245. Wes and Taylor took the lay of the land and asked the only question that matters: How does this affect the Stars In this episode:the NHL Draft Lottery (and what the league could gain if it were a little more conscious of the fact that sports are entertainment) Caden Sterns Flag, the Seth Jones market, and whether the Stars should be in on it,John Klingberg and his next contract,Miro Heiskanen and his natural side, the value of goals vs. the value of grit, and whether that makes Mitch Marner the new Tyler Seguin, and how the Stars cap management will shape the team going forward. Did Jim Nill really go all the way into the office for that Let find out. Let go Stargazing. Be part of the next podcast! The Winnipeg Jets appear to be in a bit of a death spiral. Theye conceding a crapload of goals and scoring very few https://www.storewinnipeg.com/Marko_Dano_Pet_Jersey-196, which, in the rules of sportsball, usually means you lose! Tonight game against the Montreal Canadiens was a chance to stop the bleeding and restore a modicum of confidence in Winnipeg abilities. Unfortunately, the Jets found hilariously terrible ways to blow a 3-1 lead instead. The First PeriodWinnipeg immediately found itself treading water from the puck drop. The rested Habs were ready to pounce on misplayed passes and poor physical battles anywhere inside Winnipeg defensive zone. The Jets looked incredibly sluggish, even moreso than previous losses. You could tell the team wasn at the races, and the Habs quickly generated some cheeky scoring opportunities down low. Eric Bolte-USA TODAY SportsConnor Hellebuyck, mired in a rough patch as of late, stood tall to keep Montreal scoreless. Despite the chaos in his crease, he kept his composure and held the Habs at bay. Against all odds, the Jets were the team to open the scoring, with Dylan DeMelo hitting Paul Stastny in the central channel of the neutral zone for a clear route to goal Nate Thompson Pillow Cover. Stastny sped down the slot and ripped it past Jake Allen, a sight for sore eyes indeed. Montreal seemed pretty pissed about that, because they responded with several waves of chances off the rush. The Jets managed to avoid any damage against and went to the break with the 1-0 lead. The Second PeriodThe middle frame started off with some promise. The Jets, though still conceding several odd-man rushes and chances against, ended up adding a second goal early on. Jansen Harkins hit Trevor Lewis on a rapid counter up the ice that seemed to catch the Habs napping. Toffoli had just barely missed at the other end, and watched as the American Eagle one-timed a rocket over Allen shoulder. Sick! The Jets, being as they are, just had to make things fun. Scarcely 2 minutes later, Montreal caught the Jets defense napping as Joel Armia weaved his way through the slot. His shot attempt was blocked and rolled back to Nick Suzuki, who whipped the puck past Hellebuyck. It was a goal the Habs deserved, and a frustrating one to concede. Somehow, though, Winnipeg managed to get a lucky break from another Montreal mistake in the Jets end of the ice https://www.storewinnipeg.com/Dylan_Demelo_Flag-147. Harkins and Lewis found themselves in a 2-on-1 rush counter the other way, and Lewis ripped a short-side rocket for his brace. A 2-goal Trevor Lewis performance is absolutely the work of a monkey paw somewhere. Eric Bolte-USA TODAY SportsIndeed, the paw appeared to curl at the cost of Winnipeg 3-1 lead, because the Jets continued to get hemmed in by Montreal for most of the period. A sloppy Winnipeg turnover in neutral zone sprang the Habs in on a 4-on-2 counter. Artturi Lehkonen capped off the play with a simple snipe. The pain continued a few minutes later when Armia capitalized on some netfront power play chaos to tie the game 3-3. Just. . . . wow. The best I can say is that Winnipeg didn give anything else up. The Third PeriodAfter 40 minutes of hockey, you could tell where this game was going. The Jets were thoroughly in the mud, skating like the ice was a barrel of molasses. Montreal had the speed and skill, continually testing Hellebuyck resolve. The Jets netminder held firm while his team skaters failed to do much of anything. About 5 minutes before the end of the period Winnipeg Jets Pillow, disaster struck. The Jets took a silly penalty and gave the Habs a chance to take 2 points. Suzuki did the rest, blasting one top shelf on a screened Hellebuyck. Toffoli added the requisite empty netter while the Jets ran out of gas chasing the game. Folks, the next few weeks aren gonna be fun. I brace for. . . something. I doubt itl involve a coaching change, but if it does, it about time. Winnipeg has been letting too many seasons slip by. The time to be aggressive and make change is rapidly approaching. Three TakeawaysYikes. Winnipeg blew a 3-1 lead, and sucked for most of the game. I don have a whole lot else to say. Winnipeg top players aren pulling their weight. The Jets had 2 of 3 goals from Trevor Lewis. Trevor. Freakin Lewis. Winnipeg goalscoring drought hasn been magically solved yet. Where does the team go from hereI suppose the Jets have technically been in worse straits, but it can be by much. Winnipeg in real danger as the playoffs near. . .

During the playoffs, a seven game series stretching over two weeks isn anything at all. We expect them, we enjoy them, we enjoy the conflict they breed and the rivalries they create Torey Krug T-Shirt. At the end of the seven game series, one team goes on and the other goes home. At least, that happens during the playoffs. During the regular season the teams just keep playing, and that anticipation of playing any team that isn named the Arizona Coyotes is high Tyler Tucker Pillow Cover. Let admit it, that anticipation of playing any team that isn named the Arizona Coyotes has probably made most of us sick of watching the Blues play Yotes for this long. There too much of a good thing, and then there too much of whatever this is. You can get burned out on both, but at least you eventually want to go back to the good thing. No offense to Arizona, but if the NHL canceled that last game against them, I would not cry. This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like youe had your fill https://www.stprostoreonline.com/Jake_Walman_T_shirt-18. Let do this. Let Go Blues.

Super wildcard weekend is here, and the Titans are set for a playoff rematch from last year. It a familiar playoff foe for Tennessee the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans went to Baltimore earlier this year and came away with a dramatic comeback win, capped off by a Derrick Henry touchdown run in overtime. Since that moment, the Ravens are 6-1 and have won five straight games, which is probably why Vegas likes them in this spot. Baltimore opened as 3. 5 point road favorites and remain 3 point favorites as of Saturday morning. The total sits at 54 https://www.tennesseefanstoreonline.com/Rashad_Weaver_T_shirt-108. 5 once again the highest of the weekend. If youl remember, Tennessee was about a touchdown underdog to this same team a couple of months ago. For the Titans, we know the deal by now. It going to take at least 30 points to win as this defense continues to struggle https://www.tennesseefanstoreonline.com/Trevon_Coley_Face_Mask-642. Lamar Jackson, who hit 1,000 yards rushing on the year last week, should find plenty of room to operate on Sunday. Perhaps the good news for the Titans is that the Ravens don have a great passing attack, which is really where Tennessee has struggled recently. Jackson ended the year with just over 2,700 yards passing. He thrown for over 200 yards just one time in the past six games, which will present the Titans with a new challenge. Tennessee holds the 19th ranked run defense in the league this year. Baltimore 8th ranked rush defense will test Derrick Henry Curley Culp Hoodie, but as you saw last year, Henry has already proven he can pretty much take advantage of any defense. Henry ran for 195 yards against the Ravens last year in the playoffs, an effort that Arthur Smith hopes he can replicate on Sunday.

HOUSTON -- Mock drafts wont tell you exactly what teams will be doing when on the clock, but they cant give you an indication of which way theyre leaning. From certain positions to basic needs, mock drafts show what the new franchise could look like by the end of draft weekend. On Wednesday, The Athletic Dane Bruglerreleased his new seven-round mock draft. Through research, film review Rex Burkhead Hoodie, and rumors around the NFL, the list compiled might be the best plan of what happens on draft weekend. Where does this play in for the Texans Plenty of ways. READ MORE: At Pick No. 67, Texans Must AddStud Defensive NameHouston will not be picking until the third round. At that point, new GM Nick Caserio probably will have to go with thebest player available approach. From there, itll be up to him and the scouting department to help the Texans end their 2021 season better than 2020. Houston has eight total picks in Brugler mock draft. Let take a look at why some picks will work and others perhaps do not. THIRD ROUND No. 67Dyami Brown https://www.houstongearonline.com/Charles_Omenihu_Pet_Jersey-300, WR, North CarolinaThe Texans have lost their speed element with the departure of Will Fuller this offseason Justin McCray Pillow Cover. Brandin Cooks proved he still can be a low-end No. 1 option in place of DeAndre Hopkins, but that vertical presence is need. Turn on Brown tape from Chapel Hill and prepare to be amazed. Few players in the ACC were more consistent than Brown over the past two seasons. With the Tar Heels, the 6-foot-2 target recorded over 1,000 yards in 2019 and 20 and tallied at least 51 catches. Brown also averaged over 20 yards per play. As a route-runner, he quite limited minus the basics. While he can handle the slants, gos, ins and outs, comebacks and corners will take time to adjust. However, the upside, speed, and agility shown as a vertical presence make his ceiling a high-end No. 2 and low-end No. 1 at the next level. Right Choice:Brown fits what the Texans need at wide receiver, but the defense needs a tune-up. Houston added five defensive backs this offseason and only Desmond King should be considered a starter. That said, the three cornerbacks that might do best in Lovie Smith system are Kentucky Kelvin Joesph, Syracuse Ifeatu Melifonwu, and Georgia Tyson Campbell. They all landed in the second round with Arizona , Seattle , and Buffalo , respectively. The next cornerback to come off the board is Stanford Paulson Adebo at No. 77. Should the decision be between those two, go for the vertical option in a deep defensive back class, and prosper on offense. READ MORE: If Available, Texans Must Target Syracuse Melifonwu in Round 3FOURTH ROUND No. 109Rashad Weaver, EDGE, PittsburghHouston will be switching over from a 3-4 defense to a 4-3. They need pass rushers who can consistently help pressure quarterbacks to make mistakes. As a Day 3 selection, Weaver would actually be a steal here. What Bill Belichick looks for in his defensive ends is exactly what Weaver will be. A hybrid player that can win at the line of scrimmage and pile drive tackles back, Weaver relies on his speed first and strength second https://www.houstongearonline.com/Tytus_Howard_Pet_Jersey-632. An overall good pop off the snap and smooth agility, Caserio could use him in a multitude of ways for David Culley system. Right Choice:If Houston were to land a cornerback in the third round, this would be an excellent addition. However, the Texans added Shaq Lawson, Jordan Jenkins, and still are hopingCharles Omenihu can hit in Year 3. Michigan Ambry Thomas, Minnesota Benjamin St-Juste, and Michigan State Shakur Brown come off the board within the next 20 picks. Of the three, Thomas makes the most sense and should be considered at the selection. FIFTH ROUND No. 147Talanoa Hufanga, S, USCIf the Texans are willing to give up on third-year product Lonnie Johnson Jr. and Eric Murray, theyll need some competition at strong safety. Justin Reid can control one of the sides, but they need another run-stopper with tackling skills for multiple Cover 2 and 4 sets. Hufanga can play in the box, but also isnt afraid to do more work in zone coverage either. A good matchup for tight ends and running backs, the former Trojan is a tackler first and then someone who can make plays on the ball. Just because of the background, that doesnt mean hell be the next Troy Polamalu, but they show similar traits Kahale Warring T-Shirt. Houston needs a playmaker with a hard-hitting mentality like Hufanga on its defense. Right Choice: It not a terrible fit for dime packages, but there are injury concerns and overall athletic traits that could hurt him in Smith schemes. Hufanga suffered a concussion in 2020 and has broken his right collarbone twice. He also hurt multiple upper body parts. Cincinnati James Wiggins, who might fit better in coverage, is taken one pick before. Hufanga might be a great pick, but he also a bit of a project. If Caserio though wants a box defender, he the best option. READ MORE: Case Closed One Lawsuit Against Texans QB Watson DroppedNo https://www.houstongearonline.com/Tyrod_Taylor_Face_Mask-626. 158Earnest Jones, LB, South CarolinaSome believe that Jones could be a second-round pick based on his talent in 2020. More than likely, he a mid-round guy that fits theMIKE role in a 4-3 defense because of his tackling. Right Choice:This isnt to say it a bad call, but there are better options for Houston. They need help in the defensive line, but the closest name here would LSU Tyler Shevlin, who doesnt come up the board until the sixth round. Houston added multiple linebackers in free agency. This isnt a position of need. SIXTH ROUND No. 195Drake Jackson, IOL, KentuckyOne can never have too many linemen. Primarily a center, Jackson started three years with the Wildcats and used his smaller stature to hold blocks in the run game. He needs help in the passing sets, but there plenty to like about his IQ and mentality in the trenches. Right Choice: This 100% is the right choice. Justin Britt is on a one-year deal and Jackson could be the second or third best center prospect in the class. Add him and prosper. No. 203Khyiris Tonga, DL, BYUWith the defensive tackle role needing help at the 3-tech and 1-tech, adding Tonga makes sense. He more of a nose tackle than and 4-3 defensive tackle, but his bull-rush ability in pass sets is one that cant be ignored. Right Choice:Unless they cut or trade Brandon Dunn, Houston doesnt need a nose tackle right now. Then again, all sixth-round picks are viewed as projects https://www.houstongearonline.com/Keion_Crossen_Flag-471. No. 212Jared Hocker, IOL, Texas AMA three-year starter at Texas AM, Hocker is best known for helping establish the run game. During his final season with the Aggies, the offensive line only allowed four total sacks and helped the club finish with a top-five rushing attacking. Right Choice:Hometown kid at a position of need this late At least AM fans will be clamoring to see him play. SEVENTH ROUND No. 233Camryn Bynum, CB, CaliforniaFrom a character standpoint, it clear why the Texans like him. A four-year starter a two-time captain, Bynum embodies the leadership qualities Houston is missing. As a defensive back, he willing to tackle in coverage and play the run often. Right Choice:Houston needs DB help. Bynum is a DB. Worst-case scenario, he makes the roster as a special teams star and becomes a locker room leader.

Earlier today, the NFL released their 2021 draft hats for all 32 NFL Teams. Each draft hat can be found Okay, maybe it not so bad. The truth is Malcolm Perry T-Shirt, I haven bought a draft hat since I went to the event in Philadelphia and waited hours only to watch the Dolphins select Charles Harris. It was the worst draft hat of all time. As for this style of hat Larnel Coleman Pillow Cover, I don despise it. I used to wear trucker hats all the time when cruising around on my Shred Sled trying to be the next P. J Ladd. (He a skateboarder) But this logo is terrible. Seriously. It isn good. And in my opinion, it is one of the worst https://www.miamigearonline.com/William_Fuller_V_Hoodie-221, right up there with the hat of 2017. Final DecisionPA$$(Unless you bought last year hat, then I think you have to buy this one to keep the good vibes flowing)Will you buy this year draft hat Do you like the logo Who should the Dolphins draft at 6 overall Let us know in the comments section below!

So here is what I say every year, grading a draft the day after it happens is silly https://www.denverproshoponline.com/Kyle_Fuller_Hoodie-197. Unless the player is Isaiah Wilson, it is impossible to grade a pick before you have seen 2-3 years from him in the NFL. With that being said, we look at these things every year and cheer if they liked the Titans' pick or boo if they didn. The Caleb Farley pick, in particular, seems to be a tough one to grade. Most people agree that he can play. The issue is whether or not his health will hold up (in case you haven already heard). Here to hoping he is at least ready to go when the Titans open camp. I not sure I can take another summer with reporters asking Mike Vrabel about a player health and Vrabel giving them less than nothing. Just once I want the first round pick ready to go when camp starts and healthy throughout. Is that too much to askEnough of that. Let take a look at some grades on last night pick:Rob Rang Fox Sports: A-After letting former first-round pick Adoree Jackson leave town, it was clear Tennessee would be looking for help in the secondary https://www.denverproshoponline.com/Jonathon_Cooper_T_shirt-97. The Titans found a potential star in Farley still on the board at No. 22. Farley is a gamble, as he has already undergone three surgeries, including for a torn ACL on a non-contact injury early in his college career. His traits, however, are special, and he plays with the intensity to fit right in with coach Mike Vrabel. While some will criticize the Titans for not taking a receiver here, the depth at that position is outstanding, and there aren many corners with Farley physical gifts Steve Atwater Flag. CBS Sports: B-This is a boom-or-bust pick. If he healthy, this is a great pick. But injury concerns are real. Ryan Fowler The Draft Network: B-Despite major injury concerns surrounding Caleb Farley, the Tennessee Titans are willing to bite the bullet here for a prospect who recently converted to the defensive side of the ball. Farley is an outstanding prospect who could slide in and fill the role Adoree Jackson left. Vinnie Iyer The Sporting News: B+The Titans stopped Farley fall because of injury concerns, knowing he has the size and smooth coverage skills to develop into a shutdown player who can also make big plays when needed. The Titans could have also considered offensive tackle or edge rusher, but this was a good choice to bring into their defense along with Janoris Jenkins and Kristian Fulton. The value boosts the decision to address this position first.
